Yesterday had quite a bit going on. Son and I started the day by going and picking up as much of the rest of the donated bamboo as we could fit in the minivan. I'm very happy to have it and am looking forward to making many useful items from it.
After that I had a business deposit to make at the bank and took the opportunity to learn how to do the remote check deposit using the phone camera, turns out my particular camera isn't very good at it but my Kindle looks like it should work. While there, the accounts person who was walking me through the deposit introduced me to a teller who is a communications major at the university and is looking for local non-profits who need a photographer. Knit'n Kitten doesn't have a lot of photography needs at the moment, but I told her I'd let the different anti-trafficking groups know in case someone there is looking.
