UAHT red sand project

Created in 2014 the idea of the Red Sand Project is to bring awareness to human trafficking by enlisting community members to pour red dyed sand into the cracks of urban settings to signify that trafficked people are "falling through the cracks". Today United Against Human Trafficking and the staff of Houston's Hilton Americas and Hilton Post Oak joined together to spread 100 pounds of red sand along the cracks of local area sidewalks.
