As highlighted in the New Events page, there was a motorcycle fun-run for Home of Hope last Saturday. According to organizer Melinda Finch's post on Facebook, there were 27 bikes (due to pouring rain earlier in the morning) and they raised $3,196.68 due to an extra $1,000 donation. She also posted that there will be another ride in October and I saw that a number of people have signed up for it. She also has a nice picture gallery of the ride provided by one of the participating groups.
Home of Hope is the organization I posted about on March 31. They are building a new facility to assist twice as many trafficked children and teens as they do now and are about 80% completed with the site so these donations are very welcome, I'm sure.
