Streams in the Desert

I am very excited that Knit'n Kitten now has necklaces, earrings, and bracelets available from Streams in the Desert. In many ways Streams was the catalyst that changed Knit'n Kitten from a for-profit sole-proprietorship to a non-profit focused on funding the fight against human trafficking. I found out about them, and their mission to help Mongolian women break free from abuse, addiction, and exploitation, seemingly by accident but it was the deep desire to help them find funding that led to the concept of Knit'n Kitten as a shop that funds the fight against human trafficking by selling needlework supplies, tools, and items from local artists and artisans and also items from organizations like Streams in the Desert.
