I made four of these sachets from some very thin knitted silk fabric that I reclaimed from a garment that couldn't be worn anymore. They are filled with the same tea/spice/citrus mix as the others and smell amazing. The shape is orange peel that was cut out using a tea sandwich cutter and then dried. I have to admit to seeing the idea on Pinterest and deciding I like it.

My first try at crocheting over a cord (the seaming "thread" for the coffee sacking. I then hand felted it to make it thicker because I wanted it to be a trivet for a teapot. At the very least I needed to have not made my increases more evenly to ensure it would lay flat. I think I will use a thicker yarn next time as well.
