This was the solution to the buckling problem of fabric trapped in unworked areas and lifted so much that there was no way the carpet would lay flat in those areas. Did you notice I said was?


I was concerned that the second plan showed signs of causing ruffling around the outer edge of the wedge shapes, and also that the central medallion would be lost in all the straight lines. I definitely hope I like this better because it really need to be the last attempt since the burlap backing isn't able to withstand the extensive abrasion caused by placing and removing stitches.
